This is the next level.

We are a newly founded HVAC/R academy in Barrie. Our goal is to take the traditional way of learning this trade and add relevant and current value.

I opened this academy because i was dissatisfied with my personal HVAC education, and made it my personal goal to bring a new level to this industry that has never been seen before. I wanted the NextLevel name to mean something, and that is;

“These people know what they’re doing”.

We’ve created a fast-paced curriculum that combines in-class and codebook learning, in-class shop days where you will preform transferrable HVAC skills, and Co-op placement every other week.

Join us in creating the next generation of exceptional technicians.

Our Approach

We implement our values in a few different ways that set us apart from the rest. Our curriculum is centred around the B149.1 codebook and TSSA Gas Technician 2 exam, however we believe that HVAC is much more than obtaining your certification.

Gas technician 2

The central topic of our course, we rigorously train our students of the codes and procedures required to be successful on their Gas Technician 2 exam.

Sheet metal

An often overlooked yet massive part of our trade, students can expect to learn about and perform duct sizing, transitions, and the basics of assembling ducting.

refrigeration

Refrigeration is an integral part of the HVAC/R trade and we want our students to be well versed in how refrigeration works, brazing, purging, evacuation, and the components and procedures of a heat pump, due to their recent popularity.

Tssa contractors

Not everybody wants to be a HVAC/R business owner, however we believe everyone should be educated on the subject. This section will be conducted by a current TSSA registered contractor. Expect to learn about what is expected from an HVAC/R contractor.
